Our daily program is built around two national frameworks that set the benchmark for quality early childhood education in Australia: the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Framework (NQF). Both inform how our educators plan, observe, document and reflect on each child's learning journey.
The EYLF is Australia's national curriculum framework for children from birth to 5 years. It describes the principles, practices and outcomes that support every child's learning. At our centre, the EYLF is not a checklist — it's a lens through which our educators see every interaction.
The five EYLF outcomes guide our planning:
The NQF is the national assessment system that brings consistency to early childhood education and care across Australia. Centres are assessed and rated against seven quality areas covering education, health and safety, environment, staffing, relationships, partnerships and leadership. Our centre is committed to meeting and exceeding the NQF standards in every area.
Explorers (Nursery, 0–2 years): A calm, sensory-rich environment where babies and toddlers form their first attachments outside the family. Soft routines, lots of cuddles, music, tummy time and exploration.
Discoverers (Toddlers, 2–3 years): A busy, language-rich room where toddlers begin to assert their independence, build friendships and develop self-help skills. Loads of role-play, art, storytime and outdoor adventure.
Inventors (Kindy, 3–5 years): A purposeful kindy programme that prepares children for school. Pre-literacy, pre-numeracy, science experiments, group projects and a strong focus on social and emotional skills.
