A Team That Knows Every Child

Our educators are the heart of Morley Early Learning Centre. They are the consistent, caring presence in your child's day — and they are the reason families stay with us, often through multiple siblings.

Claire Kilian — Centre Director

Claire has more than 20 years of experience in early childhood education and is the heart and soul of our centre. As both director and owner, Claire is on-site every day — you'll see her greeting families at drop-off, in the rooms with educators, or chatting with parents at pick-up. Her hands-on approach means decisions are made quickly, consistently and always with the child's best interests at the centre.

Our Educators

Every educator at our centre is qualified in early childhood education or actively studying toward their qualification. We invest heavily in professional development — our team regularly attends workshops on topics like sensory development, trauma-informed practice, sustainability, and emergent literacy.

More importantly, our team is stable. Many of our educators have been with us for years, which means your child sees the same trusted faces day after day, week after week. In an industry known for high turnover, this consistency is rare — and it makes all the difference for the children in our care.

Our Centre Cook

Healthy food is fundamental to a healthy childhood. Our dedicated centre cook prepares fresh, seasonal meals on-site every day, accommodating allergies, cultural preferences and dietary needs with care.

Educator-to-Child Ratios

We meet or exceed the educator-to-child ratios set by Western Australian regulations:

• Birth to 24 months: 1 educator to 4 children
• 2 to 3 years: 1 educator to 5 children
• Over 3 years: 1 educator to 10 children
